Job SummarySummary:
The “Supply Chain Analyst” will be based in Nanshan, Shenzhen, reporting to Supply Chain Manager. As part of the Global Supply Chain Organization, the candidate will streamline the Product Notification Change (PCN) process by providing data analysis and validation to ensure faster implementation.
What a typical day looks like:
Specialized Job controls may be required for certain positions. These could include on or more of the following duties:
Principle Accountabilities:
• Validate PCN (Product Change Notification) submissions from the Global team to ensure alignment with specific manufacturing site requirements.
• Categorize incoming PCNs to assess risk levels, technical criticality, and potential impact on production.
• Maintain and monitor tracking logs to provide real-time visibility into the status of all active PCN notifications.
• Expedite implementation by following up on aging or overdue PCNs with relevant stakeholders to minimize delays.
• Generate weekly or monthly status reports on PCN cycle times and implementation bottlenecks for management review.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience..
- Typically requires a minimum of 3 years experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain design/management or other related area.
- Excellent facilitation and organizational skills required. Must have an understanding of cost accounting, electronic component markets, price trends and technologies.
- A background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process.
- To perform the major job responsibilities the use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages, and database systems.
- Excel: Proficient in data management and analysis.
- English: Intermediate verbal skills; professional-level written comprehension is mandatory.
- An America Production Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification, Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM), National Association of Purchasing Management (NAPM) certification, or Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) is preferred.
