Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) preferably located in Althofen, Carinthia.
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain Embedded and Critical Power, the Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) role will be in charge of directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management. This is a strategic customer-facing role, who will be managing and overseeing the methods and processes that support the development and production of both new and existing products.
What a typical day looks like:
- Participates in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.
- Checks materials related to data research.
- Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and goals.
- Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and oversees planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
- Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
- Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial drive.
- Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Requires a complete degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training;
- Typically requires extended experience of supply chain management in an international & complex Matrix Organization;
- Ability to execute detailed expertise in very complex situations and multiple sites & areas;
- Excellence communication skills in English to successfully influence external and internal stakeholders to drive & motivate change;
- Readiness to travel ~ 30%.
