Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Technician - Component Engineering - GBS Engineering located in Chennai

What a typical day looks like:

• Enter and maintain component data and manufacturer information & approved vendor lists in global component database.
• Create a component database for all the Electrical/Electronic & Indirect materials Quality review of the component parameter attributes from datasheets.
• Validate MPN and provide proper alternates
• Monitor Component EOL and manage the component obsolescence Part of a cross-functional team in implementing product component changes within the Company.
• Work closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications
• Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics
• Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes.
• Provide support in Implementing AI solutions in Process

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Diploma (ECE/EEE/E&I) graduate / B.Sc. (Electronics, Physics), BCA, Computer applications with (0-2) years of experience
• Flexible to work in night shifts.
• Hands on experience in the following domains
• NPI (New Product Introduction) • BOM (Bill of Materials) Management
• Semiconductor sourcing/Analysis
• Knowledge of ERP, preferably BAAN
• Should have good Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point & Word skills
• Command over oral and written skills in English
• Good analytical skills, logical thinking, Coaching & mentoring skills.
• Should be open for any shift
