Job SummaryFlex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Test Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager the Test Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, qualification, optimization, and support of In-Circuit Test (ICT) solutions for electronic products. The ideal candidate will have experience with Keysight 3070, test fixture development, ICT program implementation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with customers and external suppliers. This role requires close interaction with manufacturing, NPI, customers, and third-party vendors to ensure robust and cost-effective test solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop, implement, validate, and maintain ICT test solutions for PCBA manufacturing.
- Support and optimize Keysight 3070 ICT platforms.
- Work with external suppliers on the development and procurement of ICT fixtures and test programs.
- Troubleshoot and debug ICT hardware, software, and test coverage issues.
- Perform boundary scan and digital test implementation and validation.
- Support DFT (Design for Testability) evaluations and test coverage analysis.
- Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support during NPI launches and product transfers.
- Collaborate with customers regarding test requirements, qualifications, and improvements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and test specifications.
- Train technicians and manufacturing personnel on test processes and troubleshooting techniques.
- Evaluate new technologies and continuous improvement opportunities within test engineering.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Keysight 3070, ICT test implementation, Boundary Scan, Test fixture development
- PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes knowledge.
- Experience working with customers and external test solution providers.
- Knowledge of DFT concepts and test coverage analysis.
- Experience supporting NPI projects.
