Reporting to the Sr. VP of Operations the VP, of Business Excellence will be responsible for driving operational excellence across all manufacturing processes. This role will lead initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, lean methodologies, and strategic leadership.  This position operates in a Matrix organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business excellence strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Champion lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor operational performance and drive accountability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance overall business performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing training and support to employees at all levels.
  • Oversee quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to support business excellence initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on business excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of leading successful operational improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving change in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Range (Applicable to California) $224,100.00 USD - $308,200.00 USD Annual Job Category Operational Excellence
