Description

The Junior Recruiter will play a crucial role in supporting the full cycle of Talent Acquisition (TA). This pivotal role will ensure FSA Federal continues to attract top-tier talent, contributing to FSA's mission of Serving the U.S. federal law enforcement and national security communities by providing high-quality administrative, legal, and investigative support services. This position reports to the Senior TA Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Full Life Cycle Recruiting for specific disciplines within the Federal Marketplace.
  • Source qualified candidates through advertisements and internet searches, as well as create recruitment announcements, advertisements, compelling job postings.
  • Creating a pipeline of passive and active candidates for current and upcoming FSA opportunities.
  • Consult with FSA's Managers and Sr. Recruiters to gather an understanding of essential duties, skillset, experience, responsibilities, education, certifications and security classifications required for positions.
  • Pre-screen candidates for job openings to identify applicants who fully meet the position requirements.
  • Ensure that FSA's internal Applicant Tracking System is maintained and updated throughout the recruitment life cycle.
  • Provide support to multiple positions and manage a high volume of candidates simultaneously.
  • Utilize Job Boards, internal candidate database, social media and other recruitment channels to identify qualified, top talent.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice or in support of a Sr. Recruiter.


Requirements

Skills and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education, professional training and/or work experience.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong experience in use of Social Media.
  • Strong presences on and understanding of LinkedIn
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills are essential.
  • Willing to work in a fast paced and fluid recruiting environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a time-critical environment.
  • Have strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations or an understanding of government contracting.
  • Knowledge of the Service Contract Act (SCA).
  • Knowledge of the Full Life Cycle Recruiting for specific disciplines within the Federal Marketplace.
  • Working knowledge of an ATS, HRIS, or similar database, preferably ADP Recruiting Management and/or ADP Vantage.
  • Ability to self-drive recruiting efforts, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for non-technical positions in one or more geographic locations.
  • Experience with our suite of recruiting tools

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Generally, works in a normal office environment or hybrid model.
  • Ability to work various shifts which may include evening and weekend hours.

Target range: $21.50/hour - $27.90/hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on location, experience and other factors.
