Description
About Fusion Education Group:
Fusion Education Group with HomeBase offices in Grand Rapids MI manages multiple school programs focused on providing life-changing educational experiences for students in grades 6-12. Each model, Fusion Academy, and Fusion Global Academy, offers fully accredited courses, 1:1 learning, and an individualized and flexible educational plan to accommodate each student's unique needs. We are the school that changes everything!
Every student at our schools is unique - some students are accelerated learners; some need flexible scheduling; and others have special learning needs due to attention challenges, learning differences, or social and emotional difficulties. No matter why students come to Fusion, the model is simple - through compassion and acceptance, Fusion students learn on their terms, on their schedule, and in their learning style.
Our environment is highly personal and socially inclusive. Equal emphasis is placed on students' emotional well-being as it is on academic achievements. In addition to full-time enrollment, students at Fusion Academy may take a class for credit or enroll in our tutoring/mentoring program.
As an Admsissions Coordinator you would be supporting all of our brands, which include Fusion Academy, our in-person brick and mortar schools (80 across the country), Fusion Global Academy, our fully virtual school that supports students across the globe, and Barnstable Academy.
The Fusion culture offers a special place to work, teach, and learn. Fusionites are a special brand of educators--they are creative, passionate, embrace change, and have fun! They communicate honestly and with compassion to both students and colleagues. People join the Fusion family for more than just a paycheck; they seek to work with peers who share these values.
About the Admissions Coordinator (AC) role:
If speaking with families, uncovering their student's needs, sharing the magic of our programming, and getting them to the next step of the admissions process sounds like something you would excel at, you may be a great fit as an Admissions Coordinator.
We are hiring an experienced sales professional who will thrive hitting their key performance metrics (KPIS) all while providing every family with the Fusion "celebrity experience", which means going above and beyond to make the family feel understood, heard, and that there is hope for their child. Admissions Coordinators are true Fusion ambassadors. Admissions Coordinators communicate with great clarity and empathy. They bond with our families and staff. They know their audience and tend to impress. They hit targets and touch hearts. No matter where you are in your career, you appreciate the fact that one size doesn't fit all students in education.
You will help guide each family through the front end of the admissions process. Every lead is welcomed with warmth. You will seek to build a connection with each family while promoting our unique 1:1 education model. Through thoughtful engagement, you will discover what key motivators are making a family seek Fusion's support and if they are an overall Fusion fit academically, socially, emotionally, and financially. By sharing the unique attributes of our programs, you will create value for a potential family, then make the request to schedule an admission meeting with one of our campus leaders. You will be responsible for a strong hand-off to our campus leaders so the family can continue the journey to enrollment.
This role is managed on performance and metrics. It requires strong skills in sales and customer service. It also requires a great deal of empathy and compassion. We often work with families in crisis who need support for their child desperately. We are looking for someone who is extremely motivated by numbers, data, and exceeding student enrollment and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is open to change, a fast-paced work environment, and at times, ambiguity in the role. You will report to the Manager of Admissions Success. Admissions Coordinators work remotely under our sales department.
