DESCRIPTION

The Content and Social Media Producer is a versatile and highly creative storyteller, responsible for crafting, sourcing, and re-mixing compelling content, and managing our social media content strategy. This role blends exceptional writing and storytelling skills with creative production capabilities, ensuring our brand voice is amplified and engaging across multiple platforms.

SALARY RANGE : $62,500 - $72,500 USD

REPORTING STRUCTURE

This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write, edit and publish engaging multimedia content for various platforms including social media, sales collateral, website, and email
  • Write compelling keyword-optimized organic web content and landing page content for paid advertising
  • Create email copy and templates for national marketing, events, and campaigns
  • Support the creation of sales enablement materials and school support materials including flyers, brochures, and digital assets
  • Manage and grow our national social channels by creating and curating content, scheduling posts, and engaging with our audience
  • Design content sourcing systems in partnership with student life and campus ground teams
  • Oversee campus social media accounts and leaders through training, post approvals, and providing content libraries and templates through Hootsuite
  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality, and tone of voice

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 4+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or a related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Excellent project management, organization, and time-management skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite preferred
  • Experience with email platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot preferred
  • Experience with design platforms like Adobe and Canva preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
