BASIC FUNCTION HCSC is looking for an individual to join its Credit Union, Teller team! Under supervision, this position is responsible for providing effective service to Credit Union members by acquiring and retaining the knowledge required to process all transactions in an accurate, timely and courteous manner. This individual handles basic banking transactions and provides customer service which includes, but it not limited to, receiving and processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions. They will also assist customers with account inquiries and may cross-sell bank products. NOTE: this position is a client-facing role and requires in-office visibility five days per week (Monday-Friday). Sponsorship will not be offered either now or in the future ~JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills for interacting with customers to effectively build positive relationships.
- Detail orientation and accuracy is crucial for handling transactions and maintaining records.
- High level of confidentiality to respond to inquiries concerning credit union matters (i.e., loan information, account information, verification, etc.).
- Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Workday.
- Solid cashiering and customer service skills to accurately process payments and issue receipts.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ten-key / calculator experience.
- Experience in a credit union and/or banking institution.
- Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria.

Compensation: $17.75 - $25.66
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location
