Essential Duties:
- Ability to operate punch press, brake press, laser (Trumpf), Bridgeport, lathe, shear, bandsaw, form rolling machine, copper tube bender and Pines bender to shape a variety of sheet metal materials, including aluminum, stainless steel and steel.
- Familiar with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Able to check parts to engineering drawings using precision measuring equipment
- Accurately reports shop floor production data via computer terminal and/or written reporting
- Follows both visual and written work instructions in order to complete assigned tasks within set time allotted
- Performs cycle counting of parts and material handling duties as directed by Lead/Supervisor
- Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Adheres to all quality and safety standards
- Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred and/or related work experience
- 1-3 yrs. of industry experience preferred
- Ability to operate a fork lift
- Frequently lifting up to 50 lbs.
