Description

Join the team that is a leader in engineering, designing and manufacturing of leading-edge military expeditionary products and rugged industrial/commercial products since 1937.

This role is geographically flexible, but will require travel to HDT facilities as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for financial metrics, reporting, forecasting and analysis and will be an active member of the finance leadership team
  • Performs financial reporting, ad-hoc business analyses, and financial modeling
  • Collaborates with Senior Leadership and business managers to ensure effective finance and cost management
  • Facilitates financial review meetings with business groups
  • Works closely with the business managers to drive costs efficiencies and optimize free cashflows
  • Manages the financial planning and analysis effort, using the key input levers to the business
  • Develops ad hoc business analysis and presents recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives
  • Establishes and maintains operating and business metrics

 Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required, MBA or CPA a plus
  • 7-10 years of financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of general accounting and GAAP
  • Government or defense industry knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge and proficiency in SAP and OneStream preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers, vendors, employees and managers at all levels within the company
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to set/meet goals

This position requires access to or use of export-controlled technical data or technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
