Director of Patient Safety

HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Director of Patient Safetyto fill an opening with a leading healthcare organization in Hudson, FL!

Daily Responsibilities for Director of Patient Safety:

• Initiate and oversee proactive evaluation and redesign of care processes to prevent future errors, implement information and management systems supporting patient safety, and use data from various sources to enhance the patient safety program.
• Guide facility leadership to foster an open and fair environment that promotes learning and safe systems, while managing behavioral choices related to patient safety through activities such as Patient Safety Rounds, Event Response, and Disclosure
• Will work Monday-Friday: Days

Required Qualifications for Director of Patient Safety:

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare related field
• CPPS (Certification in Patient Safety) (within one year of hire)
• Three to five years relevant experience in patient safety, risk and/or quality

Pay Details: $98,000 - $145,000 a year (dependent on years of experience)
