Description

We are looking for individuals that excel in positions that require a high understanding of mechanical equipment and systems. Our preferred candidate will have mechanic shop experience and some electrical skills. This will be a full-time opportunity and is part of Hobby Lobby's Distribution Center at the corporate offices in Oklahoma City.

• 1st SHIFT: $19.25 Hr. (6:00am – 2:30pm – Mon thru Fri.)
• 2nd SHIFT: $20.00 Hr. (6:00pm – 2:30am – Mon thru Fri.)

Sometimes, overtime and or Saturdays necessary, but only as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on Forklifts, Golf Carts, and Aerial Lifts.
• Mechanic shop experience preferred
• General knowledge of basic mechanics
• Technical, electrical and mechanical aptitude 
• Familiar with the use of manuals, schematics and part breakdown diagrams
• Mechanical power transmissions and lubrication
• Pneumatics and hydraulics
• Familiarity with a wide range of mechanical tools
• Detail oriented with a high sense of urgency
• Ability to multitask and plan ahead in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work with a team and by themselves
• Problem solver and determined attention to repairs
• Service oriented and good attendance, good listening, and good communication skill required
