Only 3 employees will be selected for this opportunity! What Does a Medical Assistant Do? Medical Assistants play a vital role in patient care by: Escorting patients to clinical areas Taking and documenting vital signs Collecting patient history for visits Supporting providers and clinical staff Assisting with patient care and clinical workflow A medical assistant intern will be able to shadow and learn these processes through coursework, clinical labs and externship training.# Program Highlights: FREE training for employees Paid while you learn Open to Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees Hybrid program (classroom, lab, and clinical training) 23-week program | 768 total hours Paid Training Structure: ##32 hours per week#during classroom # lab training (19 weeks) ##40 hours per week#during externship training (4 weeks) Program Timeline Starting May 4th, 2026: Step 1: Pre-Training # Foundations 3 Weeks | 96 Hours Step 2: Core Training # Classes # Clinicals 14 Weeks | 448 Hours Step 3: Externship # Real World Experience at HMC 4 Weeks | 160 Hours Step 4: RMA Exam Preparation 2 Weeks | 64 Hours Pay: Participants are#paid their current rate#of their existing position during the program.
