Description

The General Manager (GM) is responsible for managing all aspects of a supply chain operation. The GM provides overall direction and oversight in the areas of performance, safety, P&L management, customer relations, continuous improvement, and associate development. * Direct operations of distribution, packaging, and transportation to achieve company objectives and meet customer expectations. * Evaluate overall operations and set short and long-term goals aligned with organizational objectives. * Oversee warehousing, distribution, packaging, and transportation to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements. * Focus on continuous improvement to enhance value, service, effectiveness, and profitability. * Manage safety programs ensuring associate, equipment, and property safety. * Direct budget and P&L for operations. * Develop staffing plans to optimize labor costs, overtime, and retention. * Maximize quality and productivity by setting job standards, evaluating performance, and providing training as needed. * Collect and analyze performance measurements, recommending efficiency improvements. * Build strong customer relationships. * Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports. * Deliver a consistent, high-performance experience for associates and customers. * Communicate quality, food safety, and customer standards to all stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Compensation $135,000 - 155,000 based on relevant experience and education Total Rewards include Paid Time Off, Health, Vision, Dental, and 401K with company match * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or business-related field preferred; 10+ years management experience and comprehensive knowledge in a high volume fast paced 3PL, distribution, warehouse, and transportation environment; or equivalent combination of experience and education. * Strong demonstrated management of P&L. * Critical thinking, problem solving and reasoning skills. * Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and communication styles. * Proficient with Microsoft Office, databases, WMS, and other metrics measurement tools. * Strong presentation, writing and speaking proficiency. * Strong organizational skills. * Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen principles preferred. * Experience with ADP platforms, including E-Time, Enterprise, ADPRM helpful. * Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the operation's needs. * May require experience managing multiple buildings.
