- JOB DESCRIPTION
- Compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties.
- Accurately unload and receive raw material inbound trucks. Prepare stock transport orders for shipping.
- Maintain accurate raw material inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts.
- Process returns to stock from production overages. Ensure material numbers and quantities are accurately recorded on the pallet tags.
- Review movement to determine unused items and recommend disposal of excess material.
- Participate in customer requested cycle counts as needed. Be able to lead counters to ensure target accuracy of 98% or greater is being met.
- Organize production damage and prepare for shipments to recycler or donation center.
- QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
Two years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and email applications.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, hearing protection, bump cap, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from associates, managers, regulatory agencies, and the public.
Ability to speak effectively with individuals at all levels within and external to the company and the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ration and percent and to generate and interpret graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
