This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. The successful candidate will have prior experience interpreting and documenting safety and compliance processes, procedures, and regulations. Safety 1st Follow and enforce all site safety protocols Follow and enforce equipment safety protocols Follow and enforce power tool safety protocols Follow and enforce site LOTO procedures Follow and enforce all site GMPs Follow and enforce all PPE requirements Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints Installing new production equipment Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyor systems, and production-related equipment Use UpKeep CMMS to record all daily tasks Use UpKeep CCMS to complete production equipment PM services Inspecting and assessing the functionality of production machines Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and power tools Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks Communicating with the production team Attend daily pre-shift meetings Maintaining a clean work area Maintain a good working relationship with the Quality team to ensure customer-required quality expectations and satisfaction Follow and enforce all Food Safety protocols Follow and enforce the site HACCP plan Work with Quality/ Safety team to prevent or repair any quality/ safety risks due to equipment failure Benefits * Benefits: 30 days of hire * Medical, Dental, Vision (Options available) * Wellness programs to keep you healthy and reduce your medical contributions * 401(k) with matching program after a 6 month waiting period * Short- and long-term disability * Company paid life insurance * Paid Time Off * Friendly and Open-Door culture Base Pay Rate: $25.50 - $29.50 per hour, dependent on experience and knowledge. **This position is for 3rd shift which pays $2.00 per hour shift differential "on hours worked". High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education (2+) two-plus years of experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machinery Must have experience in a multiphase fast-paced production operation Ability to read schematics and blueprints Strong electrical background, specifically in 480 3-phase Maintenance of industrial hydraulic equipment Maintenance of electrical industrial machinery Maintenance of mechanical industrial machinery Examples: Shrink Wrappers, Case Sealers, Packaging machines, Conveyors, Pallet wrappers, Weight machines, Markem/Videojet Printers, Nordson Glue pots, Bailers, Compressors, and various other equipment.
