Description
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overall maintenance efforts at our Ruskin facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and detailed preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, troubleshoot and repair systems to include conveyors, controllers, detectors, sensors and scanners.
- Complete general repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and minor general construction repairs.
- Analyze maintenance projects to determine least disruptive and most cost-effective implementations.
- Troubleshoot and repair all conveyor systems under time constraints to included motors, motor controllers, control cabinets, detectors, and sensors.
- Complete daily power equipment checklist to ensure equipment is working properly and report any defects to operations team as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and guideline's.
- Communicate effectively with others to minimize potential downtime of equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Requires overtime work as necessary.
- Must be flexible to work any shift and/or weekends as scheduled.
- Exhibit the ability to work independently and safely, with limited supervision.
- All other duties as assigned.

Compensation
- $25 - $30 per hour based on knowledge, skills and experience.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- (2+) two plus years experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting electrical and pneumatic machinery.
- Able to read and write fluently in English
- Experience in a fast paced production or warehouse operation.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices to include LOTO of various types of equipment.
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Experience with fabrication and building projects.
- Must have strong attention to detail, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Desire to work with and be a contributing member of strong, cohesive culture.
