Position Overview:


The Operations Supervisor is a hands-on operational leader responsible for driving daily performance within assigned warehouse functions in a high-volume fulfillment and distribution environment. This role leads front-line associates and team leads to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations while supporting productivity, service, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.


The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced operational environment, brings strong floor leadership experience, and is passionate about developing teams while delivering measurable results. This position follows all corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and actively supports a strong safety and compliance culture.


 


Work Location: This is an on-site role


Work Schedule: Sunday–Wednesday
7:00 PM – 5:30 AM


 


Compensation/Benefits: Attractive annual salary of $65,000-$75,000 plus bonus with benefits including PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.  Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education.


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead daily warehouse operations within assigned functional areas including inbound and outbound

  • Supervise and develop front-line associates and team leads to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and service goals

  • Drive operational performance through daily KPI management, including throughput, labor productivity, quality metrics, and on-time shipment performance

  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to ensure efficient labor utilization and operational execution during peak and ramp periods

  • Conduct daily floor walks, shift huddles, and operational audits to maintain process discipline and standard work

  • Analyze operational data to identify process gaps, remove bottlenecks, and improve overall performance

  • Partner with Operations Managers, Industrial Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to implement process improvements and productivity initiatives

  • Maintain a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all safety standards, operational procedures, and site policies

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members through training, performance feedback, and leadership development

  • Support new site startup, operational ramp-up, and peak season planning in a high-volume fulfillment environment

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, safety, maintenance, and leadership teams to ensure smooth site operations

  • Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across the shift team

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2–5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics environments
  • Experience supervising hourly associates in a fast-paced operational setting
  • Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, productivity metrics, and operational performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve operational results
  • Experience with process improvement, standard work, and operational problem solving
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, performance-driven distribution environment
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3PL experience
