Position Overview: The Quality Manager will partner with Director, Quality and Food Safety to provide corporate leadership and guidance for the implementation and maintenance of Quality and Food Safety programs. Ensure safe warehousing, distribution and production of products that meet company, client, and FDA standards. Leads process improvement activities in the areas of product food safety, quality systems, pest control, sanitation, and product quality. Will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. Work Location: This role is an on-site role without opportunity for hybrid or remote work. The physical site location is in Somers, WI. Work Schedule: First Shift - Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Work Travel: 0% Responsibilities: • Represent corporate quality for start-ups as assigned, including participating on the project team, interviewing quality associates for the start-up site, coordinating break-out quality team sessions to develop site quality processes, acquiring initial food licenses. Assisting in training during start-up week and providing on-going site quality support following the start-up. • Manage and submit renewals of licenses and registrations for all food and drug sites, such as FDA Food Facility Registration/renewals, Local food registrations/renewals (i.e. Dept of Ag), and Drug registrations/renewals • Serve as a Corporate Quality Auditor, conducting corporate quality annual food and quality audits of ID Logistics sites as assigned, and support sites in corrective actions generated from corporate audits. • Manage and oversee 3rd party audits as assigned, including scheduling the audits, assisting sites in audit preparation, attend the audits as assigned, and assist sites in corrective actions generated from 3rd party audit findings. • Function as a member of the CAPA investigation team for site corrective actions as assigned, Corporate QM will drive execution of the CAPA process at ID Logistics sites as assigned • Function as a member of the Change Management Team for sites for change projects • One-on-one support, including potential on-site support for extended periods, in the development, training, implementation, and maintenance of quality and food safety processes, programs, and teams • Support sites in development and management of site quality objectives • Present corporate quality training as directed • Present corporate quality/food safety training topics to all ID Logistics sites. • Assist in managing the corporate quality Document Management System, including writing and revising corporate procedures and forms, approval of documents, and rolling out new and revised corporate processes to all sites. • Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. • Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
