Description

Ingram Content Group (ICG)is hiring for a Director, Learning & Organizational Development to contribute to our Learning & Organizational Development team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville.  This person directs the identification, planning, delivery and assessment of learning and organizational development services aligned to organizational strategy and business needs. The Director manages a Learning and Organizational Development team focused on delivering management and leadership development solutions, and, designing and executing organizational development initiatives such as succession planning, performance management, and talent identification that provide direct business value.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Training or Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field
  • 7 years experience in management and leadership development, organizational development, or, in a related talent management function
  • 3 years management/supervisory experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directs learning initiatives with a focus on leadership development to include needs analysis, content solutions with both internal resources and external vendor partners, learning transfer and application, and program evaluation.
  • Directs the organizational development function that may include a variety of initiatives such as succession planning and career pathing, individual and executive assessment, competency identification and mapping, performance management, coaching and other talent management related activities.
  • Manages and drives the utilization of learning technology to include existing talent management system and distributed learning offerings. 
  • Identifies opportunities to further integrate technology-based talent solutions to meet organizational needs and facilitate talent related processes to a geographically dispersed workforce. 
  • Directs all program evaluation to include both learning and organizational development initiatives. 
  • Leads L&OD team in identifying appropriate measurement systems to include a focus on business impact and return on investment, and establishes standardized reporting and presentation methodologies.
