REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations for the MT Group.
JOB SUMMARY
The Billing Coordinator will support the Building and Construction business by providing assistance to Business Development team members and serve as the primary customer contact. The successful candidate will be involved in invoicing daily in order to accurately meet the Bi-Monthly deadlines of the business.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

- Generate and issue accurate invoices based on sales orders, contracts, or services rendered
- Ensure proper documentation is attached
- Monitor invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Review and process sales orders to ensure correct billing information
- Coordinate with the sales team to verify pricing, quantities, and terms
- Ensure all orders are billed in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and applicable tax regulations
- Conduct periodic audits of billing data to ensure accuracy
- Perform other work as required
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelors Degree or 5 years of bookkeeping and or accounting experience is preferred
- Intimate working knowledge of the Business Development Team's Quotation Techniques
- Ability to maintain a very close working relationship with the Business Development Team
- Knowledge of the different procedures and processes by which client approval is obtained, what budgets the project was sold for, and what expenses need to be billed to the client above and beyond the quoted service rates
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and knowledge of SharePoint
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities
