Overview
We are seeking a Financial Business Partner to join a highly successful North America Finance Team to lead the financial, reporting and analysis for our growing Canada business. Reporting directly into the Finance Director, North America, with a dotted reporting line to the Canada Business Line leader you will be responsible for working directly with our operational colleagues to drive insight and financial excellence.
Part of the wider North America Finance Team, we are looking for an individual to take ownership for their own success and drive analysis and reporting excellence in Canada, being the lead for the success we have had in delivering financial excellence in the USA.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering directly with our Operational teams to drive insight into business performance, supporting with forecasting, budgeting and month end reporting for 4 Business Lines (Caleb Brett, Agri, Food and Minerals).
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support annual budgeting, weekly forecasting, daily reporting and long-term planning. This includes working with the Operations to truly understand our business and drive performance.
- Partners with Operational department heads to consolidate budgets and align financial plans with strategic priorities
- Partner with the Cananda Financial Controller on month-end process including the review of monthly cost accruals, manual revenue recognition entries (Unbilled revenue), headcount and other KPI reporting.
- Track KPIs to assess business performance and identify drivers of revenue, margin, and expense fluctuations
- Provide clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, HR, etc.) to understand initiatives and assess financial impact
- Support leadership in evaluating business cases for capital investment and customer opportunities.
- Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support key corporate decisions.
- Enhance FP&A processes, reporting tools, and data visualization dashboards to improve efficiency and decision making
- Carrying out all responsibilities in a supportive manner with total adherence to: the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures, Quality Management System, Compliance and Ethics Policies, Vision, Mission and Strategy, and exercises good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy

Education and Experience Requirements
- 5-10 years of financial accounting, financial planning or financial analysis experience
- Qualified CPA (or similar) or if not qualified, a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- Advanced Excel skills
Analytical Skills: strong financial acumen, including understanding of P&L and balance sheet

Salary & Benefits Information
The salary for this position is $96,000 per year . Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
