NEBS Engineer

Intertek is searching for an NEBS Engineer to join our Connected World team in our Lexington, KY office.  This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in Engineering!

Job Responsibilities:

• Experience working as a product compliance and Validation Engineering for Telecom equipment product testing knowledge/experience is an added advantage
• Good knowledge about NEBS standards and test requirements for telecom products.
• Test assessment plan, ESD, Acoustic noise test etc.
• Proficient engineering application skills through proper understanding and formal training of basic mechanical principles.
• Effective people and interpersonal skills to be able to work with engineering and manufacturing team members in a concurrent environment.
• Efficient organization and multi-tasking skills to manage various projects simultaneously.
• Process and quality oriented.
• Proficient in various computer software tools such as Excel, MS Word, Power Point, and flow chart programs.
• Strong team player who can handle multiple projects and priorities with little direction from manager
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

Team Work:

• Share lessons learn with team for different production line
• Provide support: ACT2 sign for HW teams etc.

Technical Skills:

• Mechanical/Thermal Design Verification Testing
• Telecom & Networking product experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Cisco products experience
