Shift/Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, overtime may be required
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you'll do:
- Provides hands-on support to company computer systems, server and desktop management, software deployment, systems administration, and data integrity and recovery.
- Reviews and maintains awareness of all device revisions/bugs/recommendations in the production environment through consistent contact with vendors and/or web notifications.
- Implements new servers in a test and production environment.
- Develops and maintains all operating system, hardware and software configurations for servers and network devices.
- Adheres to and helps improve existing change control, policies, procedures and documentation processes.
- Supports the design, installation, configuration, documentation, and maintenance of the network and systems infrastructure.
- Participates in efforts to evaluate, test and introduce new technology and approaches.
- Collectively responsible for enterprise anti-virus, messaging, Windows Active Directory and NT Domains.
- Produces utilization reports and performs capacity planning for network and systems infrastructure.
- Interfaces with various business units to define requirements and processes to provide support and service.
- Participates in the disaster recovery planning design and recovery of systems.
- Prepares professional written technical and process documentation for new technologies and practices.
- Maintains access to company computer systems
- Maintains network security through internal individual and group access and external firewall protection
- Network infrastructure design, implementation and maintenance
- Troubleshoots network problems
- Maintains system backup
- Maintain change control of changes, upgrades, repairs and services
- Document and record all system changes related to regulatory compliance
- Obtains price quotes for hardware and software as requested by management
- Create custom applications (databases, spreadsheets, documents, etc.) under direction of management
- Support projects including data migration, security set-up and software configuration
- Write, revise and review AP/SOP related to job function
- Familiar with a wide variety of concepts, practices and procedures
- Works under general supervision
- Stays current on industry and technology changes and trends
- Primary job functions require a wide degree of independence and judgement
- Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Information Technologies, demonstrated through
- BA/BS Computer Science, CIS, MIS or related computer degree and/or industry recognized certifications (e.g. MCSE, MCP)
- 5+ years of related IT experience (past experience working in a laboratory environment is a plus)
- Organization, communication and analytical skills
- Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical and business information, both oral and written to others, including co-workers, supervisors, subordinates, clients, and vendors
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to work varied and extended hours/days, as business dictates
