Sales Representative – APM Software

Intertek's Asset Integrity Management team provides asset life management support to infrastructure, facilities, and equipment through the conception, design, construction, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning phases. Intertek provides specialists and engineering support in all areas of Asset Integrity Management, including design, process safety, mechanical integrity, inspection and maintenance, operational and process support, corrosion, metallurgy, and risk analysis to provide you with Total Quality Assurance.

What are we looking for?

The APM Software Sales Representative is a key role in contributing to the growth of business within the Intertek AIM (Asset Integrity Management) group, providing outstanding technical sales and consultancy support for Intertek APM (Asset Performance Management) software solutions.  

The sales representative s responsible for using their knowledge of company products and services to connect with prospects and generate sales for Intertek. Their duties include developing sales pitches to sell products or services, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of their sales like invoices or client contracts.

This position will travel at least 25% of the time.

Shift/Schedule:  8 am to 5 pm, plus  occasional overtime and travel hours

Salary & Benefits Information

The base wage or salary range for this position is $100K to $ 120K, plus sales commissions. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the main technical resource for fixed equipment asset integrity management
  • Take responsibility for the planning, creation, development and delivery of demonstrations that prove the value of our industry solutions
  • Prepare technical proposals against RFPs 
  • Participate in technical discussions internally and with client around PSM, MI, AIM, FFS and RBI
  • Develop detailed specification for software development team to ensure software compliance with industry standards (API, ASME, ASNT, etc.) and best practices
  • Familiarize with the Intertek Aware software and demonstrate its capabilities to clients
  • QA/QC Aware software for compliance to industry-standards, where applicable
  • Provide technical support to the Engineering team on PSM, AIM, MI, FFS and RBI projects
  • Execute RBI and MI-related assessments / projects

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required
  • Proficient with API, ASME standards and industry best practices in the Oil & Gas and petrochemical industry 
  • Requires a BS in Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft windows office suite required.
  • Experience in Mechanical Integrity and Asset Integrity Management for Power, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Wind and Pipelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.

Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge with Intertek Aware, Mistras PCMS, GE Meridium, or Siemens PS-AIM / Ultrapipe is preferred
  • Working knowledge of RCM
