Director of Product Management, LP

Job Summary

Intralinks, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Product Management to lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our Limited Partner (LP) focused solutions. This role will be instrumental in defining and delivering innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our LP clients within the alternative investments industry.

Job Responsibilities

* **Product Strategy & Vision:** Define and champion the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Intralinks' LP-focused product suite, aligning with company objectives and market opportunities.
* **Market & Customer Research:** Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify key LP pain points, unmet needs, and emerging trends. Translate these insights into compelling product requirements and use cases.
* **Product Lifecycle Management:** Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through development, launch, adoption, and ongoing optimization.
* **Cross-Functional Leadership:** Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and client success teams to ensure successful product development and go-to-market execution.
* **Roadmap Definition & Prioritization:** Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
* **Requirements Gathering & Specification:** Translate high-level business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
* **Performance Monitoring & Analysis:** Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for LP products, monitor product usage and performance, and leverage data to inform future product decisions and iterations.
* **Stakeholder Communication:** Effectively communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners.
* **Team Leadership & Mentorship:** Potentially lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications

* **Experience:** 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Director, Senior Manager).
* **Industry Expertise:** Strong understanding of the alternative investments industry, particularly the workflows, challenges, and needs of Limited Partners (LPs). Experience with private equity, venture capital, real estate, or hedge fund operations is highly desirable.
* **Technical Acumen:** Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred) and the ability to effectively collaborate with engineering teams.
* **Strategic Thinking:** Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive product strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
* **Analytical Skills:** Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
* **Communication & Presentation:** Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
* **Leadership & Influence:** Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and inspire a shared vision.
* **Customer Focus:** A deep commitment to understanding and serving customer needs, with a track record of delivering user-centric products.
* **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus.

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 175,000 USD to 190,000 USD. Other States Salary range for the position: 175,000 USD to 190,000 USD.
