Description

JDA TSG is looking for a Customer Engineer (CE) who brings deep architectural expertise and governance insight to help enterprise customers build a secure, scalable, and well-governed Azure foundation. In this role, you'll guide customers through Microsoft's Well-Architected Framework (WAF) and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), establishing best practices for networking, monitoring, and operational excellence.

This is a strategic, customer-facing role where you'll advise technical leaders on everything from landing zones and network segmentation to Azure Monitor integrations and governance planning—ensuring their cloud estate is secure, optimized, and future-ready.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000K based on experience

Location: Remote

Primary Work Includes:

• Lead architectural discussions and implementation planning around Microsoft's Well-Architected Framework (WAF) and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
• Help customers design and deploy landing zones, establish governance controls, and align cloud initiatives to business priorities.
• Provide architectural guidance on Azure Networking, including Virtual Networks, NSGs, ExpressRoute, and hybrid connectivity patterns.
• Guide clients to Integrate and configure Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for full-stack observability across workloads.
• Align cloud strategies with best practices for cost optimization, performance tuning, availability, and security at scale.
• Provide guidance for technical governance across key accounts, providing delivery oversight and strategic input to Customer Success teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT decision-makers and architects, ensuring technical decisions drive tangible business value.

The experience you'll need to excel in the role:

• Cloud Governance Frameworks: Well-Architected Framework (WAF), Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), enterprise-scale landing zones.
• Networking: Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), subnets, NSGs, routing, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, private endpoints.
• Monitoring & Insights: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Metrics Explorer, Application Insights, diagnostics logging.
• Security & Policy Controls: Azure Policy, RBAC, blueprints, management groups, tagging strategy.
• Operational Readiness: Cost governance, identity/access reviews, workload assessments, compliance alignment.
