We have immediate opportunities for Azure IaaS and Hybrid Infrastructure experts to join our team as Customer Engineers (CEs). This is a remote (home-based), salaried role with great benefits and a fantastic team.
As a CE, you'll help enterprise customers modernize, automate, and manage secure hybrid environments across on-prem and Azure. You will be a trusted advisor—guiding organizations through Windows Server modernization, hybrid management via Azure Arc, automation with PowerShell, and enterprise IaaS operations. You'll ensure scalability, resiliency, and governance across every layer of the hybrid cloud.
Location: Remote US
Salary Range: $100K – $110K based on experience
Primary Work Includes:
- Standard Product Workshops & Training – Deliver enablement sessions on Azure IaaS migration, Arc management, and PowerShell automation
- In-Depth Product Reviews / Whiteboard (Chalk Talk) Sessions – Lead discussions on hybrid architecture, automation patterns, and governance controls
- Infrastructure Health Checks / Assessments – Evaluate server deployments and IaaS environments for performance, security, and compliance
- Operational Reviews of Implementations – Ensure hybrid solutions deliver on availability, automation, and cost efficiency objectives
- Product Upgrade / Integration Assessments – Support customers adopting Azure Arc, Azure Files, and Azure Monitor for unified management
- Automation & Optimization Sessions – Develop and deploy PowerShell scripts and automation frameworks to streamline operations
- Act as the Primary Technical Contact – Provide advanced support, visibility, and resolution for IaaS and hybrid infrastructure engagements

- Core Platforms: Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Azure IaaS: Virtual Machines, Azure Files, Azure Disks, VM Scale Sets (VMSS)
- Hybrid Management: Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Log Analytics, Monitor
- Automation: PowerShell scripting, Desired State Configuration (DSC), Azure Automation
- Security & Monitoring: Defender for Cloud, RBAC, Update Management, Backup & Recovery
- Architecture Frameworks: Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Well-Architected Framework
The Experience You'll Need to Excel in the Role:
- 15 + years of IT experience
- 7+ years in Windows Server administration, Azure IaaS, and Hybrid Management: Azure Arc, Azure Policy, Log Analytics, Monitor - Infrastructure engineering, including cloud or hybrid deployments
- Hands-on experience implementing Azure IaaS and hybrid cloud solutions
- Proficiency in PowerShell automation and infrastructure-as-code approaches
- Strong understanding of Azure Arc and hybrid management strategies
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and executive stakeholders
