We have immediate opportunities for an Azure Stack HCI Engineer with expertise in Azure HCI, Windows Server, Hyper-V, and VMWare to join our team as a Customer Engineer (CE).
The role involves assisting customers with design and architectural decisions to create tailored Azure HCI solutions, troubleshooting any issues in existing applications, and developing governance strategies and controls tailored to the specific needs of a clients' organization. The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience with Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Virtualization, Storage and Networking. The CE will advise on Azure HCI architecture, consulting, and support to help customers drive solutions and resolutions.
Location: Remote U.S.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 Based on experience
Primary work includes:
- Standard Product Work Shops - Training
- In-Depth Product Reviews - White Board (Chalk Talk) Sessions
- Health Checks / Assessments
- Post Operational Review of Product Implementations
- Product Upgrade / Migration Assessments
- Systems Performance Reviews
- Act as the primary technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support, and problem resolution for corporate customers, including issues raised to the highest levels of management
Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience with customer facing roles in systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs and Cloud Adoption – Well Architected Framework.
- Understanding of Microsoft's Modern IT Architecture and Strategy.
- Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises, Private and Public cloud environments.
- Windows and Azure certifications - Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred.
- BA/BS (or higher) in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Broad knowledge of on-premises Microsoft products with deep understanding of the following:
- Azure Stack HCI:
o Software Defined Networking Deployments and Configuration
o Network ATC
o Storage Spaces Direct Deployments and Configuration
o Storage Provisioning
o Azure ARC for Servers
o Azure Virtual Desktop
o Virtual Machines
o Azure Update Manager
o Azure Monitor
- Windows Server (Windows Server 2012 R2-2025 = advanced level)
- Virtualization (Azure Stack HCI, Hyper-V, VMware)
- Azure Migrate, Azure Backup and Site Recovery and Azure IaaS platform (networking, storage, etc.)
- Backup and migration tools (Veeam, Commvault, Carbonite, …)
