We have immediate opportunities for candidates who specialize in data security, compliance, and risk management within the Microsoft ecosystem. This customer-facing role focuses on helping enterprise customers design and implement modern compliance frameworks using Microsoft Purview, with deep integration across M365 workloads and Copilot governance.
You'll guide customers through the evolving landscape of information protection, insider risk, communication compliance, and eDiscovery — enabling scalable, automated compliance postures aligned with industry regulations and AI readiness.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000K based on experience
Location: Remote
Primary Work Includes:
- Advise enterprise customers on the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Purview Compliance solutions, including DLP, Information Protection, and Insider Risk Management.
- Provide strategic guidance on sensitivity labels, auto-labeling policies, and Copilot data governance controls to safeguard sensitive content across Microsoft 365.
- Lead design workshops focused on compliance readiness, regulatory alignment (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and risk mitigation strategies.
- Help customers build end-to-end compliance frameworks using Communication Compliance, Compliance Manager, and Advanced eDiscovery.
- Support the governance of Microsoft Copilot by aligning security, privacy, and compliance models for AI-powered productivity scenarios.
- Partner with security, legal, and compliance stakeholders to define requirements, assess posture, and plan roadmaps.
- Drive awareness of Microsoft's compliance ecosystem, ensuring alignment with product capabilities, best practices, and licensing guidance.
The experience you'll need to excel in the role:
- Compliance & Security: Microsoft Purview (Compliance Portal), Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, Audit, eDiscovery
- Data Governance: Sensitivity Labels, auto-labeling, RBAC, Compliance Score
- AI & Copilot Readiness: Responsible AI governance, Copilot policy controls, M365 data boundaries
- Workload Integration: Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Viva, Loop
- Regulatory Alignment: GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks
- Data Security Investigation: Protection of sensitive data, improvement of data security posture, and identification of top risks using Security Copilot.
- Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) for AI: Leverage AI to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks in response to a data security incident.
- Records Management: Automation of retention schedule for regulatory, legal, and business-critical records.
- Data Loss Prevention: Protection of sensitive content as it's used and shared throughout the org, in the cloud, on-premises, and on devices.
