JDA TSG is looking for a Customer Engineer (CE) specializing in SaaS security and compliance to help enterprise customers protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory alignment across their Microsoft 365 environments. In this role, you'll drive the adoption of Microsoft Purview and collaboration security features across Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams—ensuring data governance and secure productivity coexist at scale.
You'll work directly with IT, InfoSec, and Compliance teams to help them implement secure collaboration strategies, monitor data movement, and align cloud usage with industry frameworks and internal policies.
Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000K based on experience
Location: Remote
Primary Work Includes:
- Guide customers through implementation of Microsoft Purview solutions for data classification, labeling, DLP, eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, and compliance score optimization.
- Help configure and secure collaboration tools—Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint—with access policies, auditing, and governance controls.
- Lead technical sessions focused on data residency, external sharing governance, retention policies, and audit-ready compliance.
- Advice clients on how to support risk mitigation strategies through deployment of SaaS security controls, policy configuration, and ongoing operational health engagements.
- Deliver demos, architecture workshops, and executive briefings to drive adoption of Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.

- Microsoft Purview: Information Protection, Insider Risk Management, Compliance Manager, DLP, eDiscovery, audit logs.
- Collaboration Security: Exchange Online Protection (EOP), OneDrive & SharePoint sharing policies, Teams guest access controls, Conditional Access.
- Governance & Monitoring: Compliance score, Secure Score, Microsoft 365 Defender integration, alerts, audit logs.
- Compliance Frameworks: Familiarity with GDPR, HIPAA, FINRA, ISO, and related data governance and retention requirements.
- Security Integration: Connecting M365 workloads to broader SIEM/SOAR platforms, leveraging audit/export capabilities for incident response.
The Experience You'll Need to Excel in the Role:
- 5+ years in SaaS security, compliance, or collaboration tool administration (ideally Microsoft 365-focused).
- Hands-on experience deploying Microsoft Purview and M365 compliance/security capabilities.
- Ability to translate compliance requirements into actionable technical implementations.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working with IT, InfoSec, and legal/regulatory teams.
- Comfort leading technical workshops, QBRs, and compliance readiness assessments.
