Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Copilot Expert to lead enterprise customers through the strategic adoption, governance, architecture, and extensibility of Microsoft 365 Copilot. This technical advisory and engineering role requires deep expertise across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Copilot, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, Purview, Entra ID, Teams, Power Platform, and Copilot extensibility frameworks.

 

As a trusted technical authority, you will provide guidance on Copilot readiness, data security posture, permission models, information architecture, tenant optimization, and AI governance frameworks, ensuring organizations can deploy Copilot at scale with confidence.

 

In addition to strategy and governance, you will serve as a technical leader for Copilot extensibility and customization, advising customers on extending Copilot through declarative agents, custom agents, Microsoft Graph connectors, Copilot Studio, Power Platform integrations, APIs, plugins, and enterprise knowledge integrations. You will help organizations define architectures that enable secure, scalable, and business-aligned AI experiences while adhering to enterprise governance requirements.


What You Will Do

A critical aspect of this role is the ability to lead strategic discussions with customers around data security, compliance, governance, and user adoption.

  • Lead Microsoft 365 Copilot strategy, readiness, and adoption engagements for small, medium and enterprise clients.
  • Design AI governance frameworks, operating models, and best practices for responsible AI implementation.
  • Assess Microsoft 365 security, compliance, identity, and information protection controls to support Copilot deployments.
  • Advise on Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Graph integration considerations.
  • Conduct data access, permissions, and information architecture assessments to identify security and compliance risks.
  • Develop adoption roadmaps, success metrics, use-case prioritization frameworks, and value realization strategies.
  • Guide client on architecting and implementing Copilot extensibility solutions using Copilot Studio, custom agents, Graph connectors, plugins, APIs, and Power Platform capabilities.
  • Provide technical leadership on Copilot architecture, grounding, retrieval patterns, semantic indexing, and enterprise AI solution design.
  • Deliver executive briefings, technical workshops, governance reviews, and architectural guidance to both business and technical stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of overall experience in enterprise technology consulting, solution architecture, cloud engineering, digital workplace transformation, Microsoft 365, or related technology domains.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Copilot technologies, AI-powered productivity solutions, generative AI platforms, and Microsoft AI capabilities, including strategy, implementation, governance, adoption, and enterprise enablement.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 Copilot, including architecture, grounding mechanisms, Microsoft Graph integration, semantic indexing, permissions models, data access controls, and enterprise deployment considerations.
  • Proven experience leading Microsoft 365 Copilot strategy, governance, readiness, and adoption engagements for large enterprise customers.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, risk management, and organizational operating models for AI adoption.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level discussions and workshops focused on data security, compliance, privacy, governance, risk management, and AI adoption strategies.
  • Experience conducting technical assessments, permissions reviews, information architecture evaluations, and oversharing risk assessments to support Microsoft 365 Copilot deployments.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing Copilot adoption strategies, change management plans, user enablement programs, business value frameworks, and success measurement methodologies.
  • Experience designing and implementing Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility solutions, including Copilot Studio, custom agents, declarative agents, Microsoft Graph Connectors, plugins, APIs, and Power Platform integrations.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations for executive, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering executive briefings, architecture reviews, governance workshops, technical deep dives, and customer-facing advisory engagements.
  • Strong consulting, stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decisions across multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience working with regulated industries and environments with stringent security, privacy, compliance, and governance requirements is highly desirable.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are strongly preferred, including Microsoft 365 Certified, Security, Compliance, Identity, Azure, Copilot, AI, or Solution Architect certifications.

USD $95,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Hr.
