Job Summary:
Serves as an integrator across HR Technology systems, governance, and workforce analytics, translating system design and data into decision-ready insights that enable action. Applies strong technical and analytical expertise to interpret how HR processes and data are structured, used and delivered. Builds organizational capability through mentorship, consultation, and scalable tools and practices. Leads through expertise and influence, strengthening the organization's ability to leverage HR technology and data for informed decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities:
Systems and Data Architecture Integration
Partners with HR team members to align system architecture, data structures, and governance practices in support of scalable reporting, analytics, and business process design.
Identifies gaps between current system design and decision-support needs, translating findings into prioritized system, data, and process improvements.
Contributes to the development of data structures, reporting hierarchies, metric definitions, and shared data standards.
Supports data quality and readiness efforts to ensure integrity and consistency across automation, reporting, and analytics use cases.
Documents system, data, and business process decisions to promote transparency, scalability, and shared understanding.
Analytics and Insights Delivery
Leads development of dashboards, reports, and analytics that deliver clear, actionable workforce insights to HR leaders and stakeholders.
Integrates data to enable cross-functional HR analysis and informed decision-making
Analyzes trends and metrics to identify opportunities in workforce planning, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.
Applies structured approaches to advance analysis from descriptive reporting to diagnostic and predictive insights.
Translates complex data into concise, leadership-ready narratives and recommendations.
HR Technology Solution Design & Delivery
Identifies and designs opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system-enabled improvements across HR services.
Evaluates emerging technologies for readiness, data quality, ethical considerations, and alignment with KS values.
Supports the design and piloting of automation and AI use cases that enhance efficiency, user experience, and decision support.
Uses data and operational insights to drive continuous improvement in HR business processes, workflows, and service delivery.
Collaborates with HR partners and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable system solutions.
Leads or supports the implementation of Workday modules, enhancements, integrations, and related system initiatives.
Conducts impact analyses for proposed system changes, considering cross-functional dependencies and downstream implications.
Serves as a subject matter expert for Workday capabilities, including configuration, integrations, and advanced functionality.
Supports the execution and evolution of the HR technology roadmap in alignment with organizational priorities.
Consultation, Influence and Capability Building
Serves as a consultative partner to HR leaders and stakeholders to shape solutions and strengthen outcomes
Mentors and supports the development of analysts across systems, governance, and analytics domains, ensuring quality and rigor of work
Reviews and refines analytical outputs and system solutions to improve clarity, accuracy, and data impact.
Develops tools, resources, and learning opportunities to enhance data literacy, system fluency, and self-service capabilities.
Facilitates cross-functional sessions to translate complex system and data concepts into actionable solutions.
Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for the requirements listed.
Bachelor's Degree in HR Technology, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Business Analytics, or related field
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in HR technology, workforce analytics, or related areas, demonstrating growth across both technical and analytical domains
Proven ability to design and deliver decision-ready workforce insights for leadership audiences
Experience working across HR systems, data structures, and reporting environments, understanding how system design impacts analytics and decision-making
Experience contributing to analytics practices, data governance frameworks, or reporting architecture
Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or process redesign initiatives
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority through consultation, facilitation, and translation of complex concepts into actionable recommendations
Proven experience developing others through mentorship, coaching, or collaborative project leadership
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking capabilities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualifications
Workday experience including advanced reporting, Prism Analytics, dashboards, or Extend
Exposure to predictive analytics, workforce forecasting, or scenario planning
Familiarity with automation tools or AI-enabled technologies in an HR or enterprise context
Project or change management experience or certification
Experience in an education, non-profit, or mission-driven organizational context
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp objects with light or fine manipulation, and talk and hear.
Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.
Working Conditions
This position involves traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.
Work is conducted in an office/school environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.
Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but may also be required in the evenings or on weekends, as necessary.
On-call status is expected 24:7 for related business.
