Kamehameha Schools is seeking an experienced EPM Planning Administrator to lead the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of its EPM Planning applications. As a key member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, this role ensures system stability, efficiency, and effectiveness in supporting planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. As a key member of Kamehameha Schools' Financial Planning & Analysis team, the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Planning Administrator is responsible for the administration and optimization of our Oracle EPM Planning Module. Ensures the technical stability, efficiency, and effectiveness of applications supporting planning, budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting. Beyond day-to-day system maintenance and end-user support, collaborates with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance the system, designing and implementing system improvements and transformational changes in our planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting processes to optimize decision-making, increase efficiency, and align with organizational strategic goals.
Essential Responsibilities:
System Administration and Maintenance
- Administers and maintains the technical health and stability of EPM Planning applications to ensure system reliability, performance, and availability.
- Manages regular system updates, patches, and performance monitoring, ensuring proper testing, optimal functionality, and clear communication of changes.
- Oversees user account administration, security settings, and planning module configurations to maintain compliance and data integrity.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive system documentation, including design documents, test scripts, training materials, policies and procedural guides for audit purposes.
- Provides training and support to end users, driving system adoption and proficiency.
- Serves as the primary contact for EPM Planning-related inquiries and resolves technical issues.
- Collaborates and assists with other EPM modules and ERP modules where needed.
Data Integration and Management
Manages data transformations, mappings, and validations to ensure data accuracy and consistency, and promptly address any integration or quality issues.
Implements and enforces data governance practices to maintain security, compliance, and data integrity.
Oversees Oracle Data Management interface with EPM modules and other ETL tools to monitor data integrations from EPM, ERP, and HRIS and other source systems.
System Enhancements and Process Improvements
Proactively identifies opportunities for process automation and system improvements to drive increased efficiency and accuracy in planning and analysis.
Designs, develops, and implements system enhancements, including custom forms, templates, reports, dashboards, calculations, business rules, and predictive models to optimize the platform for financial processes and decision-making.
Leads cross-functional initiatives to expand and improve system functionality, integrating new modules or features to meet evolving business needs.
Strategic Collaboration
Partners with Finance leadership to develop a strategic roadmap for EPM Planning evolution, ensuring alignment with long-term organizational objectives.
Engages stakeholders to align EPM Planning functionality with business needs and drive adoption.
Fosters strong relationships with end users to continuously gather feedback, identify enhancement opportunities, and optimize system effectiveness.
Collaborates with Financial Systems, Enterprise Technology, Oracle support, and consultants to resolve complex issues and implement advanced enhancements.
Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the above.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or related field.
Minimum seven years' FP&A experience with financial processes such as planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial consolidations.
Minimum three years' experience administering, developing, and/or supporting Oracle EPM applications.
Advanced Excel skills.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Oracle EPM Cloud, with expertise in modules like Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, and Enterprise Data Management.
Advanced skills in creating business rules, calculations, and custom configurations.
Experience with scripting, SQL, and/or data integration tools (e.g., FDMEE, Data Management).

Self-directed with ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion. Ability to take broad directions and accomplish a wide range of tasks without the necessity for detailed directions.
Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, demanding environment, managing competing priorities and delivering excellent results with minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle EPM Cloud certifications.
Experience with financial processes in nonprofit or educational institutions.
Familiarity with advanced reporting tools like Smart View and BI Publisher
Physical Requirements
Frequently sit, perform desk-based computer tasks and grasp light or fine manipulation.
Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.
Working Conditions
Hybrid work environment with remote and on-site responsibilities.
Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours, but off-business hours may be required to meet goals and objectives, such as supporting month-end reporting cycles.
Occasional travel for system-related projects, training, or conferences may be required.
