Kamehameha Schools' Finance Department is seeking a Senior ERP Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in finance, a deep understanding of business processes, and excellent communication skills.   In this role, you will support multiple functional areas and cross-departmental projects, serving as a key liaison between business and technical teams. You will analyze complex requirements, optimize ERP-related processes, and deliver innovative, forward-thinking solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic goals.   This is a hybrid position, with an expectation of two days per week onsite.

Job Summary

Responsible for delivering advanced business analysis and providing functional and technical support for the organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) financial systems, including all related interfaces and integrated applications. Serve as a strategic partner bridging operational needs with system capabilities by translating business processes and requirements into effective system solutions. Ensure the integrity, reliability, and optimization of the financial system's functionality while supporting process improvement initiatives across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis for ERP implementations, upgrades, patch cycles, and enhancement projects in collaboration with IT and operational teams.

  • Evaluate new functionality and system changes, including effort estimates, upstream/downstream impacts, integration dependencies, and business process change implications.

  • Ensure solution and design integrity for both system configurations and business processes.

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, script development, issue management, and documentation of outcomes.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications.

Functional and Technical Support

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional specifications, interface designs, reports, customizations, business processes, and end-user training materials.

  • Create and maintain system reports using appropriate reporting tools.

  • Maintain the integrity of reporting structures, data models, and reporting frameworks.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to interfaces, integrations, application defects, reports, and customizations using delivered and third-party tools.

  • Partner with Operational Managers to identify, design, and implement solutions that resolve business challenges and optimize processes.

  • Provide end-user training, communication, and ongoing support to functional teams.

Position Requirements

Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for the requirements listed.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years of related work experience.

  • Extensive hands-on configuration experience in ERP and EPM Financial Solutions applications.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into effective, solutions-based outcomes.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate with operational teams to identify, articulate, and prioritize complex business issues.

  • Ability to develop clear, high-quality documentation.

  • Proficiency in designing, building and maintaining reports using appropriate reporting tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver end-user training.

  • Ability to clearly explain system configurations, design solution options, and impacts to Operational Managers and other stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing conditions with sound judgment.

  • Knowledge of change management principles; ability to understand, influence, and support organizational change efforts.

  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours as required to meet goals and objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience and in-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP and EPM Fusion applications.

  • Minimum of 5 years of deep configuration experience with ERP and EPM systems.

  • Comprehensive experience across the full ERP and EPM system lifecycles, including implementation, configuration, maintenance and upgrades.

  • Working knowledge of ERP modules, including GL, AR, AP, Budget, Projects, Asset Management, Purchasing, e-Procurement, Student Financials, and Risk Management.

  • Working knowledge of EPM modules, including Planning and Budgeting, Labor Planning, Strategic Modeling, Account Reconciliations, Forecasting, and Enterprise Data Management.

  • Ability to recommend and implement sustainable system solutions that balance business requirements while minimizing system complexity.

  • Ability to develop detailed work plans, such as testing strategies, realization activities, and cutover plans, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently sit, perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp light or fine manipulation, talk or hear.

  • Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand, and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.

  • Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.

Working Conditions

  • This position may involve traveling to various locations, including neighbor islands to conduct business.

  • Work is conducted in an office/school environment and may require work to be conducted in non-standard workplaces.

  • Work is typically conducted Monday through Friday at normal business hours but evening and weekend hours are often required to meet goals and objectives.

115,600.00 - 165,000.00 Annual
