Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Middletown, CT. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in accounts payable, particularly with experience using SAP.
Location: Middletown, CT
Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite
Salary: Up to $32/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Duration: December 2023 through March 2025 (minimum)
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment to vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies.
- Greet visitors at the front desk and assist with visitor access as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SAP is required. Experience with other accounting software packages is a plus.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
