Now Hiring: Accounts Payable Associate (Hybrid – Tulsa, OK)
Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid – 3 days in office, Hybrid work scheduleMonday in-office is mandatory)
Contract Length: 6 months (potential for temp-to-hire)
Pay Rate: Take-home pay $25 - $26/hr
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Kelly Services is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our Tulsa-based team. Reporting to the Supervisor of Accounts Payable, this role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable data for our U.S. and Canada operations. You'll work within a dynamic, team-oriented environment, helping to resolve invoice discrepancies, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting month-end AP close.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing & Compliance
- Process vendor invoices and ensure approval aligns with Chart of Authority
- Execute 3-way, 2-way, or non-PO invoice processing
- Identify taxable charges and assess Use Tax where applicable
- Ensure payments are up to date, reconcile accounts, and analyze statements
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies
- Work with vendors and the purchasing team to obtain necessary documentation
- Maintain and update Vendor Address Book records
- Assist in sorting and distributing invoices and mail
- Support month-end AP close and assist with internal & external audits
- Identify and propose solutions for common AP challenges
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Support special projects as needed
- 3+ years of AP experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
- Experience with SAP, Ariba, Esker is a plus
- Ability to process high-volume transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong understanding of accounts payable
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in a Global Shared Services environment is a plus
