Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23.27/hr for a 37.5-hour workweek

Shift: On site in Surrey, BC Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Contract: 6-month contract though Kelly Services.

What's a typical day as an Accounts Receivable Specialist? You'll be:

  • Processes payments made by customers.
  • Prepares statements of accounts for customers.
  • Answers basic customer inquiries.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts.
  • May conducts root cause analysis of late payments and suggests process improvements.
  • Assists in preparing month end reporting.
  • Participates in projects related to Accounts Receivable improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have Must Have Skills:
  • 1. Strong understanding of AR processes including, payment posting, collections, and reconciliations
  • 2. Ideal candidate will have extensive experience in collections.
  • 3. Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication for interacting with customers and internal team
  • 4. Time Management: Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks while working independently in a remote environment.
  • 5. Excel
  • Experience: 2–4 years accounts receivable or general accounting experience

Education: High school, college, or equivalent work-related experience

Must be located in one of the following areas
