Kelly Services is seeking an experienced Front Desk Admin for our client in Marseilles, IL, a major steel manufacturing facility. Candidates must have extensive admin and MS Office experience.

This is a contract opportunity, lasting 3-6 months, covering for a medical leave.

Pay: $20-22/hr.
Hours: Mon – Fri 8am-5pm

Summary
This position covers for the current administrator during medical leave. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and teammates, keeping the front entrance running smoothly in a casual, teamwork-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in contractors, employees, and visitors
  • Direct guests to appropriate contacts/areas
  • Assist candidates with computer-based assessments
  • Manage basic email and communication using Outlook and Word
  • Coordinate meeting lunches; occasionally pick up orders
  • Manage light admin tasks such as announcements, mailings, and simple projects

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous front desk or administrative experience required
  • Comfortable in an office located within an industrial/steel mill environment
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Proficient with basic computer programs (Outlook, Word; Excel helpful)
  • Reliable commute to Marseilles, IL
