Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Receptionist (Short-Term Assignment)

Location:Roslyn NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $25 per hour
Assignment Length: 1-3 months

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to support our small office on a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and will provide general administrative support to ensure efficient and smooth office operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area
  • Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and office supply inventory as needed
  • Support the team with any ad-hoc administrative projects
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
