Customer Service Representative/General Office Staff The Customer Service Representative/General Office Staff is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate order entry and efficient resolution of sales order and freight-related issues. This role requires excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a team-oriented approach. This is a temp-hire position, working fully onsite in Rochester, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and accurately enter sales orders into our ERP system (Epicor).
- Answer and direct phone calls, addressing customer inquiries and complaints appropriately.
- Communicate with production and plant management regarding expedited orders and delivery timelines.
- Verify customer orders against standard and contractual pricing.
- Provide pricing and delivery information for standard products.
- Perform general office duties as needed.
- High School Diploma required.
- Minimum of three years of office experience utilizing business computer skills.
- Working knowledge of Epicor ERP system is essential.
- Proven experience in customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
- This is a full-time position.
