Advisor, Sales Support
Schedule: Hybrid (In-office: Monday, Tuesday & Thursday; Remote: Wednesday & Friday)
Duration: 1 year, potential for extension
Compensation: $43.00 - $48.00/hour
Travel: Yes. Occasional travel to Chatham and North York for meetings (Driver's Abstract required)
Position Overview
This operational role focuses on developing, implementing, and sustaining company processes and policies that ultimately support the sales team. The successful candidate will contribute to harmonized services, handle project coordination, and facilitate key communications. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams (account managers, engineering, operations) to ensure consistent understanding and application of policies and process
- Lead annual sustainment meeting processes
- Develop and update internal procedural documents
- Coordinate the bi-monthly customer newsletter, including meetings, drafting, and publication
- Manage company website pages and internal/external communications
- Maintain awareness of regulatory developments and communicate updates
- Deliver information sessions to account managers
- Maintain department SharePoint site and resources
- Develop training materials and support policy interpretation
Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to implement process changes
- Strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple project streams and deadlines. Project Management experience is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word; working knowledge of PowerBI
- Comfortable facilitating meetings and learning new processes, even if not the subject matter expert
- Experience in contract customer market, utilities, or government is an asset
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
