Ag Equipment Service Technician
Location: Fargo, ND
Starting Salary:

  • $25/hour or $52,000/year.
Once you have proven your skills and become proficient in the role, your earning potential can reach $90,000/year.

Schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday/Friday (Out of State travel required)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble and reassemble air seeding equipment to repair, test operation, and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
  • Drive pickups to haul tools and parts for on-site equipment repair.
  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment.
  • Employ reasoning to solve problems as they arise.
  • Determine the correct tools and processes to perform mechanical tasks.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Experience and technical knowledge of agricultural equipment.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Skilled in using hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and diligently under minimal guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical strength, agility, and dexterity to lift at least 40 lbs.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Farming background and/or experience in the farming industry (a plus).
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
