What's a typical day as an Assembler? You'll be:
• Assembling and/or testing mechanical or electrical components
• Reading and understanding simple layout and assembly drawings
• Maintaining equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition
• Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping.
• Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
• Completes required documentation related to production.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Possess mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience, high school/tech school coursework, hobbies, etc.
• Have the ability to read and interpret drawings (preferred)
• Have previous assembly experience (preferred)
• Are able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Are comfortable working with simple hand or power tools
• Have good communication skills, both verbal and written
Personal protective equipment (PPE): company will provide safety eyewear. Safety boots are required.
