Job Type: Direct Hire Position Summary:
Kelly is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Lead to handle the setup, operation, and training of new team members (DLs) on the assembly of Fluid and Brake system components. Work closely with blueprints and Bill of Materials (BOMs) to create high-quality products trusted by customers. If you thrive in a hands-on manufacturing environment and enjoy leading others in achieving quality excellence, we want to hear from you! Primary Responsibilities:

  • Master all processes and components involved in the assembly of Fluid and Brake systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure proper and accurate assembly.
  • Guide and instruct team members (DLs) for safe and efficient assembly practices.
  • Build all parts to precise customer specifications.
  • Report problems or abnormal conditions promptly to the Shift Supervisor.
  • Maintain high housekeeping and health/safety standards.
  • Adhere to all company and plant rules/regulations.
  • Promote teamwork and continuous improvement in all areas.
  • Support quality initiatives, including IATF 16949 certification.
  • Contribute to environmental efforts for ISO 14001 certification.
  • Support the BTO program.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
Education and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or 5 years relevant service will be considered.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • Thorough working knowledge of production cells and ability to train others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Cooperative, committed attitude toward employees, management, and company goals.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods on the manufacturing floor.
  • Decision-making limited to shutting down the process and alerting supervisors/team leads if risks to product quality exist.
Work Environment/Conditions:
  • Active manufacturing setting; long periods of standing required.
  • Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
  • Specialized equipment training to ensure safety and injury prevention.
