Position: Assembler
Pay: $19.76 per hour with weekly pay
Location: INDIAN MOTORCYCLES - Spirit Lake, IA
Shift: 1st shift: 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
About the position:
In the Assembly Operator position you will perform a wide variety of tasks to prepare or build up vehicle parts, sub-systems, and components. You will install subsystems, parts, and components into a vehicle on a moving assembly line. You will also perform checks and inspections to ensure good quality. The position requires the use and operation of various power tools, hoists, and production equipment. Assembly Operators work in a repetitive, fast paced environment and participate in teams to improve processes. This job requires you to lift to 40lbs, bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, reach overhead, perform strong pinch and grip, push pull up to 100lbs, and stand/walk up to 8 hours per day.
Job Qualifications:
• Able to work 6 am – 3 pm and able to work overtime as needed.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Experience with hand and power tools and have a mechanical aptitude is preferred
High School Dipolma or GED
