Assembly Specialist
Location: Taunton, MA
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (TTH)
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced Assembly Specialists to join our Assembly Department under the supervision of the Manufacturing Manager. The ideal candidates will have 1 to 2 years of assembly experience and a strong ability to follow detailed work instructions to assemble and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other work instructions to accurately assemble products.
  • Use handheld tools such as torque drivers, crimping tools, screw guns, and drills.
  • Integrate sub-assemblies, electrical panels, chassis, power supplies, and connecting cables.
  • Conduct final assembly, functionality testing, hi-pot testing, and final calibration.
  • Interface with Quality Control to ensure assembly requirements, workmanship standards, and customer specifications are met.
  • Identify and document product defects when identified.
  • Inspect final products as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 1 to 2 years of assembly experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience performing soldering.
  • Experience building wire harness assemblies using schematics and wiring diagrams to IPC-620 standards.
