Electronic Circuitry/Parts Assembler II - Assembly Tech (Temporary)

Location: Eastlake, Ohio
Employment Type: Temporary (Approximately 8 Weeks)
Hourly Pay: $17–$20/hr (DOE)

Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Assembly Tech for a temporary role (approximately 8 weeks). The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling material handling equipment according to required specifications, using a variety of hand tools and equipment. This role also involves reading, interpreting, and following blueprints for assembly, performing quality checks, and identifying product defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble material handling equipment and parts using hand tools and various equipment.
  • Read and interpret assembly blueprints to ensure correct assembly.
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure products meet specified standards.
  • Follow quality standards and safety procedures during assembly.
  • Operate CNC Router and manual machines as required.
  • Forklift operation (training may be provided).

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of assembly experience.
  • Strong mechanical background and knowledge of tools.
  • Ability to regularly lift 30-50 lbs.
  • Experience with reading and understanding assembly blueprints is preferred.
  • Machining experience (CNC or Manual) is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Personal Skills:

  • Safety-oriented with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrates JBT core values.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills.
