Job Title: Laboratory Support Technician – Microbiology & Chemistry
Location: Somerset NJ

Position Summary:
Assist with day-to-day operations in both the microbiology and chemistry laboratories. The ideal candidate will have experience working in GMP-regulated environments and be familiar with aseptic techniques and cleanroom procedures. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of laboratory areas including benchtops, floors, and dissolution baths.
- Support with laboratory glassware cleaning to ensure contamination-free labware availability.
- Prepare basic wash and disinfectant solutions following SOPs.
- Conduct balance verifications and pH meter standardizations to support accurate analytical results.
- Monitor environmental temperatures and record readings in compliance with lab protocols.
- Assist with basic solution preparation for raw material testing, including dissolution.
- Maintain chemical and reagent inventory, including reordering and proper storage.
- Support overall GMP compliance through accurate recordkeeping and adherence to procedures.
- Previous experience in a cleanroom or aseptic environment.
- Understanding of GMP guidelines and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with basic laboratory instrumentation and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in a scientific field (biology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry etc.)
- 1+ year of laboratory or aseptic experience preferred.
